3-23 If I was president, I would have evacuated everyone in the town and not allowed anyone to return until the smell in the air was gone and the water is actually safe to drink.
If you come into town and smell chemicals in the air, it is not safe to breathe. If there are bubbles in the water that have a rainbow. The water is not safe to drink. It may take months even years for the chemicals to percolate into the water table.
The train company should be responsible for every cost for the cleanup and all other Expenses. There will be a lot of lawsuits and the train company will change its name, and then all those lawsuits just go away. The laws need to change to where lawsuits will follow the company, not just the name.
The government is saying it is safe to breathe the air and drink the water. That sounds a lot like what the Soviet Union was telling the people when Chernobyl power plant blew up. This is socialism.
If a train has hazardous materials there should be a limit as far as how many cars are attached, and maintenance has to be done and be proven.
4/23 There have been a lot of train derailments lately. I think it is because of maintenance Supplies has gotten very expensive, plus the labor Shortage and maintenance is not being done on the rail cars. I will force railroad companies to comply with maintenance and repairs.
