It is not the gun; it is the person holding the gun. Everyone that wants a gun should have to go through a good background check. You need to supply fingerprints, DNA and all social media accounts. If you ever committed a crime, domestic abusers, mental health, drug or heavy alcohol abuse or a violent person you should never be able to buy or possess a gun. Everyone in the household should be investigated. psychological test, interview neighbors, bosses, school records, law enforcement, girl/boyfriends, If the police have been called out to your house for violence. No one in that house should be able to get a gun. Etc…

The investigators will know the difference between a scorned lover and someone who is afraid for their life. A lot of domestic violence does not get reported because they are afraid.

Investigators will also know the difference between a neighbor that does not like you and one that is afraid for their life.

I will give you one example, even though there are lot. Every morning at 6:30 AM the screaming would start “stop F***Ing our kids.” He went to the neighbors and said if the law is ever called, he will murder everybody in their family while they watched and then he would kill them. I called CPS and then I called him, letting him know that I did it. He fled to California, leaving three kids abandoned in the house alone. He would have been able to buy a gun and walk out of a gun store within an hour.

The background check will take a couple of days and that will also serve as a cooldown period.

This extensive background tests will be for first time gun buyers. Once you are in the system, they will still do the checks that they currently do.

For the people who already own guns if they commit crimes or have other issues. Then their guns should be taken away.

If someone uses a gun in a crime, they should get a minimum of 20 years, no parole Jail sentence.

If someone buys a gun for someone else and it is used in a crime. The person buying the gun should also go to jail.

Do not show the photo or name of shooters as that is how they get famous. After shootings there will be other shooters due to, they see that they will be famous.

There should be mandatory training not only for the owner but the whole household.

Everyone that is able to carry a gun should carry due to if you are in a public place and a shooter comes in and several good people shoot back the damage will be less than letting the shooter shoot at free will until the cops arrive.

If a shooter knows that there are guns around, they will choose another target.

Ghost guns should have serial numbers and go through the same investigation as every other gun.

There is no reason for a civilian to have body armor or high-capacity magazines, those should be for military and law enforcement only.

I feel that in ALL public places there should be locked guns with trained personal.

If the government comes in and tries to take the guns away from the good people, there will be a civil war between good people and law enforcement, and that cannot happen.

Taking guns away from good people is not going to do anything. They should focus on the Criminals. Drug dealers. Terrorist. Most of the bad people do not have registered guns, and yet they have a lot of them.

If someone commits a crime, law enforcement should go into that household and remove all guns. If they are proven guilty those guns need to be sold.

May 27-2022 Robb school got shot up the shooter shoot at the people that were coming to help him he was being chased by the cops how was he able to exit the truck get a backpack walk to the school. He should have been shoot as soon as he got out of the truck. I am Shure other info will come out latter. If there was a locked gun in the classroom the teachers may have been able to do something.

If you hear gunshots, that is not a barricaded suspect. That is an active shooter.

July-7-2022 It is unbelievable all the mistakes that happened at Rob elementary. We need to get all law enforcement trained so these mistakes will never happen again.

3-23 A lot of people are having a problem with neighbors and lovers being interviewed. This may not be put into the bill. But I still feel it is a very good way to get information, because neighbors know where the drug houses, gang houses and the people that are very mean and angry. Even though they are not in the federal database, neighbors will know the people.
