When a property is sold or transferred it is taxed at that amount and can’t go up or down more than 3 % per year. If you are 65 years old or disabled your taxes are frozen.

There is a form on the home page if you can download that, get it signed and send it in to the Secretary of State. They may do something as of now, they get paid by the taxes, so they do not want to do anything. Hopefully we can force them.

If the legislature gets enough signatures, they may change a law or put it on a ballot.
